    Serial cop impersonator sentenced on sex offender violation

    An Osceola County Jury sentenced serial cop impersonator Jeremy Dewitte to seven years in prison.

    Dewitte is best known for his police officer impersonations. Central Florida region.

    Dewitte has also been on the sex offender registry since he was convicted of battery on a child in 2005.

    According to prosecutors, Dewitte did not register his vehicle with law enforcement in 2022; this is a requirement for convicted sex offenders.

    Although the maximum sentence on the charges was five years, the judge in his case sentenced Dewitte to seven years in prison due to his previous convictions.
