SPD said the driver got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, while the two passengers were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police also said the driver was later located in the 4100 block of S. National and taken into custody before being taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

SPD did not release the driver’s name but said they believe disability was a factor in the crash.
