The actor who left Jared Leto in need of new underwear

When Jared Leto When he signs a film these days, he almost certainly has a set of unconventional plots ready to embody his character. The real question is not whether he will resort to the method, but rather how extreme he will take it. Interestingly, Leto wasn’t the only one to embrace ‘method’ techniques during the shooting of a 2021 thriller alongside a formidable A-list leading lady.

John Lee Hancock Little Things Leto brought together a trio of Oscar winners, including Rami Malek and Denzel Washington, to tell the dark tale of two mismatched detectives focusing on a strange loner they think is responsible for a series of serial murders. Washington and Malek played cops, and Leto took on the role of Albert Sparma, a local repair shop worker who – frankly – looks too creepy to be the killer.

Like Sparma, Leto wore a prosthetic nose and false teeth, and also gained a few kilos to get into the area. When Washington was asked Leto used any method acting technique While dealing with him, Sparma smiled to live his character, “He didn’t do any of this to me. No. He was going to visit. This wasn’t going to happen. However, the actor said that they kept a healthy distance from each other because they thought their characters benefited from appearing on the big screen. Washington confirmed: “I stayed away from him. He respectfully stayed away from me. We would greet or nod from across the highway.

Surprisingly, Washington revealed that he turned the tables on Leto while shooting the movie. Instead of having Leto use the “method” on him, Washington practiced the craft himself. He explained ominously: “I would follow him. Sometimes I was outside his house and he didn’t know. I won’t say anything more about this. Let me put it this way: he didn’t know.”

While it’s entirely possible that this is just Washington’s fondness for dark humor, it could partially explain why Leto is so afraid of him. during a Diversity Feature film starring Washington with his son John David Principle And Creative – Leto admitted: “I emerged ready for battle. I knew I had to be on my A game and came over prepared.

Intrigued, John David asked if Leto came to set every day in character as Sparma, and Leto smiled, “That’s true.” However, he added that almost everyone had fun in the movie and there was mutual respect between the actors. Yet John David was already distracted from imagining Leto walking around every day like he was a serial killer. “I automatically think: ‘I wonder what you’re doing for research,’ he chuckled. Has he tried some of these in real life?’”

Leto later amusingly told John David: “I had to wear a diaper the first day because it was pretty scary.” All things considered, it’s a good thing the star didn’t take this comment seriously and laugh it off. After all, it’s not every day an Oscar winner tells you they’re so afraid of your dad they want to get themselves dirty.

Perhaps Leto was aware that Washington was lurking in the shadows outside his home, after all. But in all seriousness, Leto confirmed that he found the experience of acting together. An icon like Washington being extremely satisfying. He explained: “I was in my zone but I noticed very quickly the slightest change or gesture or improvisation and Mr. Washington – boom, he’s right there with me.”
