Ice Cube kicks off Dodgers World Series celebrations at Dodger Stadium

Just as he did before Game 2 of the World Series, Los Angeles icon Ice Cube kicked off the party at Dodger Stadium with some of his most popular songs.

He played the same short setlist of “Bow Down” and “It Was a Good Day” as he did on Saturday, and the crowd sang along to the legendary West Coast rapper. Then Dodgers manager Dave Roberts joined him on stage to rap and dance with Ice Cube before introducing the championship team.

Ice Cube changed many of the lyrics to center around the Dodgers and changed a song from “It Was a Good Day” to “freak Yankees every bit like Kobe” to honor Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Dodgers maid Kiké Hernández then took the microphone and said they didn’t even need to play after Ice Cube’s pre-Game 2 performance.

“We didn’t even play the game. We had already won,” Hernández said.

He then dissed Fat Joe’s pre-Game 3 performance by saying the same thing. Once that happened, they didn’t need to play because “we had already won.”
