2 people died in a workplace accident in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala.(WSFA) – Two men are dead following an industrial accident, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

On Friday morning, shortly before 10:15 a.m., Montgomery police and fire officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Hunter Loop Road in west Montgomery.

It was announced that one of the injured people died at the scene, while the other was taken to the hospital in the region where he was taken and later died due to his injuries.

The victims have not yet been identified.

The cause of the incident is being investigated.
