Another year, another chapter is over, and it’s time to say goodbye to the Chapter 5 island as we enter the Fortnite Remix season. Similar to last year’s OG season, the Remix will take us to an older version of the battle royale island for a month before Episode 6 kicks off in December. And the Remix party will kick off on Friday, November 1st at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT, with a new live event heralding everything this new season will bring.

The event, called Remix Prelude, will take place during battle royale and zero-build matches at Restored Reels, the ancient Greek movie theater in the center of the island. What exactly will this event involve? We really don’t know but Epic Really It wants you to be able to watch whatever it is without being disturbed by other players – this makes the Restored Reels a “protected area” where you can’t kill other players or take any damage during the event. If the storm overtakes you before the event ends.

While we don’t know exactly what to expect from the event itself, enough information has already been leaked to make some predictions about the new season. To give one example, we’ve known for months that Snoop Dogg would be the new headliner of the Fortnite Festival, so he’s sure to show up for a song or two a la Eminem at last year’s Chapter 5 event.

Beyond Snoop, it’s hard to predict what else the event will feature, but it’ll certainly give us our biggest reveal yet for the Remix season – perhaps including our first look at the long-rumored low-rider vehicle mechanic – a fitting introduction to the new Remix battle pass skins and especially a look at the future of the Festival.

Epic is calling this event the first of a three-part series; The remix season itself is the second part, and another finale event on November 30 is the final piece.

For those unaware of the leaks, the Remix season will take us back to the first episodes of Chapter 2, specifically the first three seasons featuring fan-favorite characters like Midas, Meowscles, and more. Skye is introduced for the first time.
