John Williams Declined a Request to Film John Williams’ Disney+ Music, But I Think His Logic Makes a Lot of Sense

Music: john williams -A new title release this week – offers viewers an intimate portrait prolific composer Behind movies like jaws And Schindler’s List. Director Laurent Bouzereau also sheds light on the chef’s personal life and creative process through his interviews with Williams. Bouzereau had many memorable moments while working on the documentary, including the moment Williams turned down a request, he explained to CinemaBlend. But the living legend’s logic made perfect sense.

I recently had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Bouzereau before the publication of his latest document. During the interview, he told both details about his film and entertaining anecdotes about his conversations about the main subject of the film. The last one led to this Five is Back The helmsman announced that he asked the famous chef to perform the original musical pieces he prepared for him. Close Encounters of the Third Kind. But as Bouzereau explained to me, the conductor, now 92, rejected the offer for a very specific reason:

I wanted John to do this; I knew that he created different versions of the five notes for Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and that sometimes there were more than five notes. So I said to him: ‘It would be great if you could play different incarnations of these notes on the piano.’ And he said ‘No’. Because it’s so iconic that you’re betraying something on everyone’s mind. And he didn’t want someone to suddenly say, ‘Oh, that would be better’ or whatever, what’s in the movie, what’s in the movie. So I was a little disappointed, but he said, ‘I’ll get you something.’ You’ll see.”
