Mr. Boukas has more than two decades of health care experience, the Rockville Center for New York-based Catholic Health reported Oct. 31.

In his new role, he will oversee operational and administrative functions, set goals for the growth and performance of the clinical service line, and ensure patient safety, the statement said.

Mr. Boukas most recently served as senior operations manager at New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health, the statement said.

It was successful Randolph “Randy” Howard Jr.., was appointed COO of Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, in October.
