A car crashed into the back of a home in Hallandale Beach on Friday, authorities said.

Officers were seen taping off the scene at SW 1st Street and SW 1st Avenue off Hallandale Beach Boulevard.

No injuries were reported, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office Fire Rescue Department.

Officials said a gas line was struck, but the leak was quickly fixed by closing a valve.

Information about the suspicious driver has not yet been obtained, but it was seen that the police detained a person at the scene.

The fire department said there was damage to the vehicle and the building, but there was no need for an inspector to go out and inspect the structure.
