The accident occurred at around 12.57 and involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian died at the scene due to the impact.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

Roads are currently closed on the northbound Interstate 11/Decatur on-ramp.
