1 person injured in accident involving motorcycle in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) – A motorcyclist was injured following a crash in Glasgow.

On Wednesday, the Glasgow Police Department responded to the intersection of West Main Street and SL Rogers Wells Boulevard for an injury crash, according to a press release.

The investigation revealed that the driver of a 17-year-old Dodge truck attempted to turn left from West Main Street onto SL Rogers Wells Boulevard and failed to see a motorcycle operated by Justin Dicken traveling eastbound on West Main Street.

The truck driver was not injured.

Dicken was transported to TJ Samson Hospital and then flown to the University of Louisville Hospital for his injuries.

The crash was investigated by Officer Jordan Saltsman, assisted by Barren/Metcalfe EMS and Glasgow Fire Department.
