Deadpool and Wolverine OTT release

Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 12, following a record-breaking summer at the box office. The film, in which Ryan Reynolds returned as the irreverent Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as the iconic Wolverine, thrilled audiences. It’s a unique blend of action and comedy when it was released in July this year.

This trio of films made history by surpassing Joker to become the highest-grossing R-rated film ever. Deadpool and Wolverine grossed a remarkable US$1.34 billion worldwide, making it the second highest-grossing film of the year behind the coming-of-age animated film Inside Out 2.

Streaming giant Disney + Hotstar shared the trailer of the film in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu on its social media accounts and wrote, “Claws and swords are truly a match made in heaven. Deadpool and Wolverine streaming on #DisneyPlusHotstar from 12 November Hindi , in English, Tamil and Telugu.”

The story begins with Wade Wilson, played by Reynolds, struggling with an ordinary civilian life after hanging up his mercenary cape. But when an existential crisis threatens his world, Wade is forced to don the Deadpool persona once again and convinces a reluctant Wolverine to join him on this chaotic adventure.

Directed by Shawn Levy, the film features a stellar cast, including returning favorites like Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Jennifer Garner as Elektra. Additionally, Wesley Snipes as Blade and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al will reprise their roles. New faces joining the series include Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Paradox, and Channing Tatum taking on the role of the long-awaited superhero Gambit.
