Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance staff shared news of the successful rescue of a Halloween crab along with photos on Facebook.

“Also known as the moon crab, this colorful little stowaway hitchhiked from Costa Rica and was discovered in the main cabin of a plane when it landed in Denver. International Airport,” the article said.

According to Critter Squad, they can live up to 10 years.

“To get in the Halloween spirit, you can catch this crab at our Animal Ambassador shows all month long at the Gates Amphitheater,” the zoo said in the post.
