The Rajasthan Police on Wednesday (October 30) said they have solved the mystery surrounding the disappearance of 50-year-old Anita Chaudhary, whose body was found cut into several pieces and thrown into a 10-foot-deep pit in Jodhpur’s Gangana. bay. According to the information obtained, the woman was missing for three days until her body was found at a close friend’s house.

Details of the case:

After his family filed a missing person report, the police began searching for the victim. They reported that Chaudhary did not return home from the beauty parlor, which she had closed around 2.30 pm on the day she went missing.

Police said an investigation was launched, based on all available information, which revealed that the victim had taken a taxi on the day he disappeared. “The taxi driver was immediately summoned for questioning. He stated that he dropped the woman off near a house in Gangana area belonging to a man named Gulamuddin, who runs a sewing shop near Chaudhary’s beauty parlour.” However, when the police arrived at his house, Gulamuddin was not there.

A body dismembered with a grinder was found

On further questioning, Gulamuddin’s relatives revealed that the woman was murdered and her body was hidden in a 10-foot-deep pit in front of the house. Authorities reported that the woman was killed in a horrific manner by cutting off her throat, both hands and both legs. “The precision of the cuts indicates that his body was dismembered using a grinder,” an official said, adding that Gulamuddin’s wife was taken into custody.

The victim saw the defendant as his brother

The deceased’s son stated that Gulamuddin and his family members might have invited him to their home and killed him after gaining his trust. He added that his family had been associated with Gulamuddin for decades and that his mother considered him a brother. A further investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
