Former Cy Young Champion Hints He’ll Join Dodgers After 2024 World Series

Former Cy Young winner and free-agent pitcher Corbin Burnes has hinted that he could possibly join the Dodgers this summer.

Burnes tweeted this after the Dodgers captured their eighth World Series title in team history.

Burnes is scheduled to become a free agent this summer, and the Dodgers could be on his radar this winter.

The 30-year-old actor is a California native who has had an excellent career so far. In his seven-year career, Burnes posted a 60-36 record, 3.19 ERA, 129 ERA+, 3.21 FIP and 1.06 WHIP in 903.2 innings and 199 games.

The Dodgers could be real players for Burnes, who was also involved in trade talks when the Milwaukee Brewers released him on the open market.

LA has been linked to Burnes for a while now, and this offseason could be the season Los Angeles lands the right-handed pitcher.

Burnes is a four-time All-Star and won the Cy Young award in 2021.
