How did the Dodgers beat the Yankees?

Dodgers, Yankees’ Aaron Judge, Jazz Chisholm Jr. and remained patient in Game 5 after Giancarlo Stanton took a 5-0 lead with a power play that included home runs. LA took the lead with a 3-run fifth and took its first and final lead on sacrifice flies by Gavin Lux and Mookie Betts in the top of the eighth.

The Dodgers won their eighth World Series and first since 2020. Prior to this win by the 2020 team, Los Angeles had not won a World Series since 1988.
