Singham Again Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Amaran will not be released in Saudi Arabia Here’s why

Indian films Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Amaran will not be released in Saudi Arabia. The three films are scheduled to release during Diwali. Apart from the Gulf country, the films will also be released regularly in the rest of the UAE.

Saudi Arabia is very strict About Indian movies. Gulf authorities do not allow Indian films with nationalist elements, religious or sexual content to be shown in cinemas. However, this is not the first time Indian films have been banned in the Gulf country.

For the uninformed, concerned Saudi Arabian authorities review films and censor or ban films that contain religiously sensitive material, explicit sexuality, or themes that go against their local traditions. This approach is not limited to Indian films only, but also applies to films from other regions with similar content. Some films are specially edited to fit Saudi standards or are not shown at all.

Like every year in India, the Diwali showcase is filled with movie releases. Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 clashes with Ajay Devgn-Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again In the South, Tamil movies Amaran starring Sivakarthikeyan, Kavin’s Bloody Beggar and Jayam Ravi’s Brother were released on October 31. Telugu films KA, Bagheera and Lucky Baskhar were also released on the same date.
