Loved ones and colleagues mourned a slain journalist covering the violent western Mexican state of Michoacan on his Facebook news page Wednesday. Mauricio Solís of the online magazine Minuto por Minuto was shot dead by gunmen late Tuesday, minutes after interviewing the mayor of the city of Uruapan on a sidewalk. A second man was also injured in the shooting, state prosecutors said (AP/Armando Solís).
