DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – Police have identified the body found in the Mississippi River as Olivia Harrison. He had previously been reported missing.

Harrison, 24, was identified by the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office after a body was found along the riverbank in LeClaire Park, Davenport police said Wednesday. 24 October.

The police stated that there was no suspicion of intent and that the incident continued to be investigated.

According to a police press release, on Oct. 24 at approximately 1:03 p.m., the Scott Emergency Communications Center received a report of a body found in the river at the LeClaire Park riverfront.

The medical examiner told the police that the body had been in the river for a long time.

Harrison had been missing since October 16; just one day before his parents planned to take him to the doctor to help him deal with his mental health challenges.
