“Trump is a piece of shit”

Ice-T isn’t a fan of either side when it comes to next week’s US presidential election, but the rapper, actor and Body Count The frontrunner has a particular dislike for Republican candidate Donald Trump, calling him a “total jerk.”

In a new interview with Classic Rock magazine Ice-T claimed that he avoided voting in the November 5 elections and said: “I believe that if God wanted us to vote, he would have given us candidates. I don’t believe that anyone who is truly talented or who should be a politician wants to be a politician anymore. I don’t. “I don’t like either side.”

Law & Order: SVU Star continued: “You know, I hate Trump. I think Trump is a complete jerk. I think people vote with their wallets, so they believe he can put money in their pockets or something. But it didn’t happen that way last time.”

He continued: “I think the good thing about Trump is that he shows the world how messed up the United States is. It showed the world how racist and how scandalous much of our country is. No one can look at the guy’s face and tell him he’s a tough son of a bitch. He’s got more crimes than all my criminal friends combined, and he doesn’t even have a bracelet on his wrist. “This just shows us how this country is run and run, so it’s crazy.”

Ice-T didn’t have glowing things to say about Democratic candidate Kamala Harris either, but his thoughts on her were certainly less toxic.

“I didn’t even know Kamala was in the White House until Biden came out, so it just came out of nowhere,” he said. “But like I sing in the (new Body Count) song ‘Fuck What You Heard’, ‘Both wings are on the same bird.’ After all, it is the government. And if you go to prison, you don’t go to a Democrat prison or a Republican prison, you go to a federal government prison, but I know they both have different policies and practices.”

Speaking about the current political climate in the United States, Ice-T concluded: “It’s so ironic that (the parties) are wearing red and blue. The thing about the mob is that when you say you’re a Republican you have to agree with everything they say, and when you say you’re a Democrat you have to agree with everything they say. It’s a gang, yes. This is a gang mentality. You must stay down. “And if you’re the leader of the gang, you say, ‘Look, if you’re in my gang, you agree with everything I say,’ and I don’t think anyone really accepts that.”

Ice-T is preparing to release his new Body Count album. UnmercifulOn November 22. The band is scheduled to play a special one-off show on December 5 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey, with support from the Cro-Mags and Murphy’s Law (tickets available here).
