Lucy now has the opportunity to right the wrongs that led to the murder of her sister, Summer, two decades ago when a serial killer known as the Sweetly Slasher began a three-day killing spree, taking the lives of four teenagers.

Changing the past could have huge consequences for the future, but can Lucy stand by and watch as Summer and her friends are murdered?

Time Cut’s ending announced: Who is the killer?

After the first murders, Lucy decides to change the past and the consequences are damning.

After saving Emmy (Megan Best) from being murdered, Lucy, Summer, and physics genius Quinn (Griffin Gluck) come up with a plan to get rid of the killer and fix the time machine so Lucy can return to her own time.

However, they soon discover that the killer is actually from the future; This is the future version of Quinn!

It turns out that the nerd outcast grew up with a hatred for those who bullied him in high school, and is mostly angry at Summer for rejecting his romantic advances. Now an adult incel, Quinn built the time machine to travel back in time, kill Summer and all of her friends, and then vanished into time to avoid legal consequences.

However, Lucy’s intervention prevented his plan from coming true. He also prevented young Quinn from taking steps towards becoming the Sweetly Slasher killer.

Luring him to Quinn’s garage, Lucy activates the time machine, dragging the older Quinn into the future some time. They fight in a parking lot and Lucy stabs the killer.

He then uses the time machine to travel back to 2024, only to discover that his existence has been erased from his old life by saving Summer in 2003. As he had learned before, his parents had him because of the pain of losing Summer, but they never intended to have a second child.

But Lucy isn’t too bothered by this because she feels like she belongs in 2003, like she belongs next to her sister and her new best friend, Quinn.

In the 2000s, she decided to start a new life, applying for an internship at NASA and adding some Hilary Duff and Avril Lavigne to her playlist.

So where does he live now? How does this explain the fact that there are no records of life before 2003 in this reality? How do the authorities agree to this?
