NEW YORK — The 33-year-old woman found murdered at a luxury resort in the Hamptons has been identified as being from New York City.

The body of Brooklyn woman Sabina Rosas was found dead, police said Tuesday. Found in a guest room in New York’s Water Mill Monday afternoon.

He was discovered by a staff member at Shou Sugi Ban House at 12:30 p.m.

While the exact cause of death has not yet been disclosed, authorities say that the woman was a victim of violence.

The cause of death will be determined by the New York Suffolk County Office of the Medical Examiner.
