Freddie Freeman has done it again.

The Los Angeles Dodgers star hit a home run for the fourth time in as many games in the World Series against the New York Yankees. The first hitter also marked his sixth consecutive World Series appearance, a home run dating back to the 2021 World Series with the Atlanta Braves. Neither player had hit a home run in six consecutive World Series games.

Freeman’s home run gave Los Angeles an early 2-0 lead.

FREDDY FREEMAN WE ARE NOT VALUE!!!!!

With Tuesday’s homer, Freeman became the only player to hit a home run in six consecutive World Series games. On Monday, he tied the record set by George Springer, who did it with the Houston Astros.

Freeman’s first home run of the series came in Game 1, when he hit a grand slam that gave the Dodgers a 6-3 victory in extra innings.

His home run in Game 2 gave Los Angeles a three-run lead, ultimately enough to come away with another win. In Monday’s Game 3, Freeman struck out in the first inning to launch the Dodgers offense to a 4-2 victory.

While a lot still could happen, Freeman appears to be on his way to his second World Series title and first World Series MVP. He has six hits, four home runs and nine RBIs and is by far the Dodgers’ most productive player in the series.

Freeman pitched well in the NLDS and NLCS, recording seven hits and one RBI in eight games, but he stepped up big time in the World Series and may have been the reason the Dodgers got a clean sweep of the Yankees.
