Boise Police investigating fatal stabbing

BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police responded to a stabbing near W. Ustick Road just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to police, the suspect, Eliseo Torres, was involved in a physical fight outside a business in the 7300 block of W. Ustick Road early that morning.

Officers also found an unresponsive male with stab wounds in the parking lot and began providing life-saving care until paramedics arrived. During the investigation, police learned that a fight broke out between Torres and several people, including the victim.

Police said evidence showed that Torres stabbed the victim, who later died from his injuries at the hospital.

Torres was also transported to the hospital for injuries sustained from the fight and was later booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with second-degree murder, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and use or possession of paraphernalia with intent to use.

Shortly after arriving at the scene and establishing security, officers located another man matching the description of one of the suspects involved walking nearby. Evidence indicates that the suspect, Daydreyn Pelton, was also involved in the fight and stole Torres’ property; He was arrested, booked into the Ada County Jail, and charged with robbery.
