Reba McEntire Reveals Interesting Story About Caring for Cancer-Stricken Mom

Reba McAll appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon On Monday night (October 28), she shared a very personal and rather sad anecdote about caring for her sick mother.

McEntire, who starred in two films NBChit shows with Sound And Happy’s PlaceShe told a story about caring for her mother, who died of bladder cancer in 2020. As the singer and actress began her story, McEntire recalled that she had initially lined up a tour at the beginning of 2020, but planned it while she was on hiatus. He returned home to spend time with his mother.

“So I stayed with her, slept in the bed with her, and with everything, when I got to Stringtown, Oklahoma, (my sister) Alice said to me, ‘If your mother starts to suffer when you all sleep tonight,’ she said, give her one of those gummies.” ‘ And I said, ‘Okay, okay.’ And he said, ‘Everything?’ And he said, ‘Yes, everything.'”

Admittedly, McEntire said: “I wasn’t too happy about it, so when we went to bed, I said, ‘Mom, let’s get through this pain, I’ll give you half of it.'” As McEntire recalls, she instructed her mother to insert the gum into her gums so that it would slowly dissolve over time and relieve the pain for longer.

At this point, McEntire recalled thinking: “Wow, my mom bought it, I need to see what she’s going through.” Before going any further with his story, the presenter Jimmy Fallon He interrupted to ask if McEntire had any experience with weed gummies, and McEntire replied that she had probably taken a low dose of one before.

As the story goes, McEntire recalled scrambling to get out of bed and get her mother a glass of ice water after consuming half the gum. But what could have caused a reaction he remembers reaching out, “and I swear weeds and flowers were growing in my head.”

According to McEntire, the day after the incident, she asked her family how many milligrams were in the gum. “Fifty,” he said dramatically to Fallon, who broke into a fit of giggles. “I took 25 milligrams, gave 25 milligrams to my mother,” McEntire said, “and she was still looking at her mother.”
