Universal Orlando reveals Dark Universe details

The Dark Universe will feature vampires, werewolves, Frankenstein’s monster and more.

ORLANDO, Fla. – On Tuesday, Universal Orlando Resort shared the first up-close look at the monster animatronics featured in the ‘Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment’ ride coming to Epic Universe.

This unforgettable journey will be part of the Dark Universe world located within the Epic Universe park.

The groundbreaking journey will feature 14 animated figures, each depicting an iconic Universal Monster.

‘Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment’ guests are Henry Frankenstein’s great-grandson, Dr. It will take Victoria deep into the catacombs of Frankenstein Mansion, where Frankenstein conducted his experiments. During this journey, guests are invited to witness a show, but things don’t go as planned when monsters are unleashed. Guests will then embark on a dark journey as they try to escape Dracula, the Werewolf, the Creature from the Black Lagoon and more.
