‘Confident’ Harris Campaign Says All Swing States Are ‘In Play’ in ‘Extremely Close’ Race

In a rare move seven days before Election Day, the Harris campaign chairman released a video in an effort to ease unease among the Democratic base.

“We’re on track to win a very close election,” Jen O’Malley Dillon told supporters, “we feel really good about what we’ve seen,” but “we still have a lot of work to do.”

The video (below) went viral, racking up nearly 400,000 views in just 90 minutes on social media platform X.

“I know you’re worried,” O’Malley Dillon says, “I know you’re worried because you know what the risks are and it’s okay to be worried, but what we can do for you is help you channel that anxiety into yourself. That’s helping us with this campaign.” And he asked his supporters to “go knock on the door.”

O’Malley Dillon, who also served as President Joe Biden’s 2020 and 2024 campaign manager and White House deputy chief of staff, recorded the three-and-a-half-minute “campaign update” to “explain why you’re not doing it.” “You don’t have to worry and you can feel good,” he insisted, adding, “We have more than one way to get to 270 electoral votes.”

O’Malley Dillon says it’s “really a margin of error race,” saying, “Every state, the blue wall, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, the sunbelt, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and North Carolina… are in play, and those states are in play.” “We’re seeing and tracking our numbers in each one, week after week, watching the work being done, and seeing growing enthusiasm, and we’re very excited about that.”

And he insists: “We feel really good about what we saw there.”

He says Republicans, who historically have not taken advantage of early voting but have done so this year at the behest of the RNC and sometimes Donald Trump, are simply “changing the way they vote.”

“We’re seeing Republicans voting early, but these are Republicans who are going to vote no matter what.”

Democrats, meanwhile, are “voting at the levels we need them to vote for us to win,” he adds, saying early Democratic voters are “our low-propensity voters,” voters who don’t tend to vote in every election.

He says undecided voters are still there, but they’re leaning toward Harris rather than Trump; This claim was also confirmed in the latest news.

Last week Monmouth University Survey He reported that the number of “motivated” undecideds was only 1%.

news week “The survey, conducted at Emerson College between October 14 and 16, shows that 60 percent of undecided voters who chose who to vote for in the past week or month preferred the Democratic vice president, while 36 percent preferred the Republican former president.” ti.”

Harris and Walz urged their supporters to talk to the undecided.

“They need to have people at their door, they need to take phone calls, they need to see us wherever they are at any time in their lives, so we’re leaving no stone unturned.”

“Maybe you could make phone calls,” he asked, “or text from home, or maybe you could do something that only you can do, which is talk to people in your own life. People you see every day. Maybe you work with them, maybe they’re people in your life that you don’t always want to talk about politics with.” “Because I know it’s hard to talk about politics, but we need you to have those conversations. And if you have even one of those tough conversations, it will make a difference in the race.”

Daily Monster “We’re confident we’re going to win,” O’Malley Dillon told reporters Tuesday morning.

“And it’s not because we’re running away from it. “Because we are confident that we are on track to win a very close election,” he said.

“He added that the Harris campaign has seen a ‘surge in support’ since Trump’s rally on Sunday, where a comedian’s derogatory joke about Puerto Rico offended many Latino voters.”
