Italian Lorenzi died in a training accident at the age of 19

October 29 (Reuters) – Alpine skier Matilde Lorenzi died after being injured in an accident while training in northern Italy, the country’s defense ministry said on Tuesday.

The Italian winter sports federation (FISI) said the 19-year-old Italian army athlete was hospitalized after he fell while training at the Grawand G1 track in Val Senales.
