Adani Ports Q2 Results: FY25 revenue seen up to ₹31,000 crore, EBITDA may hit upper end of expectation

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones Ltd. (APSEZ) on Tuesday, October 29, reported that its net profit in the second quarter of fiscal 2025 stood at ₹ 2,445 crore, up 40% year on year. It made a net profit of ₹ 1,748 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue for the quarter rose 6.3% year-on-year to ₹7,067 crore, compared to ₹6,646 crore in the same period in the previous year.


Operating profit, also calculated as EBITDA, increased by 12.6% year on year to 4,369 billion rupees, while margins increased to 62% from 58.4% in the previous period.

The company informed the stock exchanges that it is well positioned to hit the upper end of its FY25 EBITDA expectations.

The ports and logistics company said cargo volume rose 9% year-on-year to 220 MMT in the quarter.

The company sees FY25 revenue at ₹31,000 crore.

The company completed the acquisition of Gopalpur Port and Astro Offshore and also signed two new port concession agreements.

Following the second quarter earnings announcement, shares of Adani Ports are trading at almost ₹1,356.90 on the NSE.
