Serial graffiti artist faces felony charges; Targets include church and school

A Phoenix man is facing felony charges for allegedly painting graffiti tags on public and private property.

Maricopa County Prosecutor Rachel Mitchell announced Oct. 28 that 33-year-old Jordan Quimayousie faces one count of criminal damage, a Class 4 felony, and two counts of aggravated criminal damage (Class 6 felonies).

Quimayousie allegedly committed more than 750 acts of graffiti in and around Phoenix’s 19th Street Corridor in 2023 and 2024. The targets included Phoenix Christian Preparatory School and the Church of Christ, according to the indictment.

“Quimayousie is accused of using various aliases while damaging property including bus stops, sidewalks, curbs, crosswalk signs, buildings, fire hydrants and more,” the District Attorney’s Office said in a statement. he said. “The graffiti sparked numerous complaints from area residents and caused over $57,000 in damage.”

According to the indictment, he used graffiti tags such as “MOWER”, “KSK”, “KS”, “FIBER” and “FYBER”.

Quimayousie is being held on $50,000 cash-only bond.
