Police release details about child abuse operation

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) – A joint press conference was held Monday by several law enforcement agencies in Enterprise.

Authorities have released details of an online child abuse operation dubbed “Operation Real Creeping.”

As a result of the investigation in which the police posed as children on the internet, 6 people were detained. All of the men arrested had sexually explicit conversations with “young people”, even though they believed the people they were talking to were underage.

Those detained and their crimes are as follows:

Saiteja Soudary, 26, Dothan, AL – Traveling to Meet a Child for an Illegal Sex Act

German Osvaldo Cortez, 30, Dothan, AL – Traveling to Meet a Child for Illegal Sex Act

Joshua Shawn Ard, 32, Gordon, AL – Traveling to Meet a Child for an Illegal Sex Act

Glen Benard Daniels, 41, Blakely, GA – Traveling to Meet a Child for Illegal Sex Act, Resisting Arrest and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Michael Eugene Hatcher, 39, Chesnee, SC – Promoting Prostitution 3.

Officers are not releasing the name of the sixth person arrested at this time.
