Two mini pigs were spotted in Rauchwart on Saturday. “All of a sudden they were there and started running along the main road,” explains local resident Carina Wunderler. Together with farmer René Graf, he immediately tried to capture the animals. “It’s probably a mother and her cub,” says local hunting guide Johann Pammer, who also helps out. But catching them is not so easy: “We don’t want to harm the animals,” he emphasizes. Already a partial success has been achieved: the young mini pig has been caught. He is currently being cared for in a kennel.
