KUWAIT CITY, October 28: The General Traffic Department of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the temporary closure of a branch of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road (Road 40) to facilitate ongoing maintenance works.

In the official statement, the ministry stated that the closed section is a side road for vehicles traveling from Kuwait City via King Fahd Road to Jassim Al-Kharafi Road (Sixth Ring Road) towards Jahra City.

The statement also stated that two lanes of the road towards Kuwait City and one lane of the road towards Ahmadi remained closed.
