Fans hilariously react to Lizzo wearing Ozempic costume for Halloween 2024

Rapper and singer Lizzo’s latest comment on South Park’s obesity-themed special caught the attention of people on social media.

In the episode titled “South Park: The End of Obesity”, which aired in May 2024, the singer was mocked for using a weight loss drug called Ozempic.

Embracing the prank, Lizzo shared several photos on her Instagram account, where she was dressed as the druggie named ‘Lizzo’, under the title ‘Mom… there’s a Cartman behind you’. He wore a measuring tape wrapped around his waist like a belt.

He posted an image referencing a fake ad with captions like “Lose Guilt, Gain Confidence.” A side-effect note under the picture reads: “A smile on your face and joy in your stomach.”

Fans were stunned by Lizzo’s mockery from the South Park cast. On social media, they praised the singer for her positive approach.

What will happen in the new episode of South Park?

In the episode, which aired in May 2024, the characters Sharon and Sheila are seen discussing the newly launched medications that Sharon uses to lose excess weight. He explains that a new obesity drug has been launched for those who cannot afford Ozempic and Mounjaro.

The scene then plays a mock commercial presentation of a drug called “Lizzo” that “makes you feel good about your weight and costs 90% less than Ozempic.”

The advertisement goes on to explain that 70% of patients using Lizzo do not care much about their weight. He adds that the drug helps you eat whatever you want and keeps your physical activity to a minimum.

How did Lizzo react?

He criticized creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone in his response to the South Park episode.

“I really showed the world how to love yourself and not care, so much so that these guys in Colorado know who I am and they put it in their caricatures that have been around for 25 years.” he said.

According to TMZ, creators have yet to respond to Lizzo’s Halloween costume.
