Trump gives closing remarks at Madison Square Garden rally

Former President Donald Trump held a campaign rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday.

Election day is a little over a week away and both campaigns are ending Before November 5th.

This will be Trump’s “hometown rally” and made his closing speech For his campaign in 2024 Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Next Tuesday you have to stand up and tell Kamala Harris you did a terrible job, crook Joe Biden did a terrible job. You destroyed our country. We won’t take this anymore. Kamala, you’re fired, get out, you’re fired,” Trump said.

Trump introduced a new policy at the event supporting a tax credit for family caregivers.

J.D. Vance He made statements at the rally before Trump arrived.

“We need to pray for Governor Tim Walz because he has the toughest job in American politics,” Vance said. “But think about it, our friend, our friend Tim Walz, has to convince the American people that he will somehow solve the problem that Kamala Harris has created for the last 3 1/2 years.”

Melania Trump gave a rare speech before bringing her husband on stage for his closing remarks.

Throughout the rally, speakers spent their time insulting the Democratic party and Kamala Harris.

Trump’s childhood friend David Rem referred to Harris as the “Antichrist” and “the devil,” while television personality Tucker Carlson described Harris as a “Samoan, Malaysian, low-IQ former California prosecutor.” Harris is the daughter of Jamaican and Indian immigrants.

Trump’s campaign, while promoting the rally, said: “President Trump’s message to New York City is simple and based on his winning record: If you want to return to the strongest economy in more than 60 years, rising wages, quality jobs, strong borders and safer .” districts, then vote for the Trump-Vance ticket.”

Madison Square Garden hasn’t been used for a campaign rally since Alabama Governor George Wallace, but it recently hosted both the Democratic National Convention in 1976, 1980 and 1992, as well as the Republican National Convention in 2004.

Notable attendees include former Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, political commentator Tucker Carlson and former Democratic presidential candidate Republican Tulsi Gabbard.

This is Trump’s second rally in New York state. Hours before the rally, the arena was already full, waiting for Trump’s arrival.

Harris He plans to give his closing remarks on Ellipse in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday.

According to CNN, Harris is approaching her speech as a prosecutor: laying out the evidence against Trump and putting her case before a “jury,” or voters.
