(CNN) – Prince William shared never-before-seen family photos of his late mother, Princess Diana.

The Prince of Wales is releasing a new documentary titled “Prince William: We Can End Homelessness.”

In the series, the 42-year-old heir to the British throne recalls visiting The Passage, a British homeless charity, with his mother.

William first visited the charity when he was 11 years old.

He called the visit “powerful” and said it helped shape his work to eliminate homelessness.

The first episode of the documentary will be broadcast on the British channel ITV this week.
