After sliding down the rankings for a few weeks, alabama football rose in coaches top 25 survey after some time win over Missouri Saturday. When the poll was updated Sunday, the Crimson Tide moved up one spot to No. 14.

The UA defense came to the fore on Saturday, stifling many of the Tigers’ chances led by backup quarterback Drew Pyne. Missouri dropped six spots to 23rd after its second loss of the season.
