Woman who hit a deer in Dayton died after being hit by another vehicle

A woman was killed in a crash in Dayton just before 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to an incident report, a 60-year-old woman hit a deer in her Ford Escape and was stopped in the middle lane of eastbound I-94 near Brockton Lane.

His vehicle was then hit by a 32-year-old man driving a Mazda CX-5.

It was determined that the 60-year-old woman died at the scene.

The driver of the Mazda was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
