Jeremy Allen White stars as Bruce Springsteen in biopic

The first photo of Emmy-winning “The Bear” star Jeremy Allen White playing Bruce Springsteen has been released.

33-year-old White will portray 75-year-old Springsteen in the biopic “Deliver Me From Nowhere,” which will be set in the 80s. The film does not have an announced release date yet.

The photo shows White in one of Springsteen’s signature looks, wearing a leather jacket and flannel shirt with ruffled hair.

“Deliver Me From Nowhere”, directed and written by Scott Cooper (“Crazy Heart”) book of the same name By Warren Zanes.

The story follows the making of Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska.”

According to the press release for the film, ‘Nebraska’ is considered “a turning point in his musical journey and an inspiration for a generation of artists and musicians… ‘Nebraska’ is considered one of Springsteen’s most enduring works – raw, To Believe A haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason.

“Nebraska” does not feature some of Springsteen’s most famous hits, such as “Born to Run” and “Born in the USA,” but it does have songs such as “Highway Patrolman” and “Johnny 99.”

Stephen Graham is said to be playing Springsteen’s father, Paul Walter Hauser will be playing guitar tech Mike Batlan, and Odessa Young will be playing a love interest.

It has been a love affair with Springsteen’s wife and bandmate, Patti Scialfa, 71, since the couple married in 1991.

“Succession” star Jeremy Strong rumored According to Variety, he will play Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet.

“It’s a great cast, and I’m kind of involved,” Springsteen said on “The Graham Norton Show” earlier this month.

“It’s not easy to do because you can’t fake it, you have to put a personal spin on it,” he continued. “It’s hard, but he’s a great actor and sings pretty well.”

“I’m really lucky to have a team that helps young actors portray rock stars,” White said. GQ in a recent interview.

“I have a really talented group of people helping me vocally and musically to prepare for this thing.”

He also said he met Springsteen and that the bona fide rocker was “really supportive of the project.”

White added: “I was able to reach out to him a little bit and he’s a really great guy.”
