Bianca Belair, WWE and AEW Stars in Danger of Being Buried | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats and Rumors

The wrestling industry is thriving due to new television deals and the rise of some prominent Superstars in WWE and AEW, but some of the key performers in each company are in danger of being buried.

As the winter holiday season approaches, an extremely slow time for business, stars like Bianca Belair, Kyle O’Reilly and the DIY duo found themselves on the outside looking in at the worst possible time.

Here are the artists who are in danger of being buried in the coming months.

There are few female Superstars on the WWE roster with as much raw talent and power as Bianca Belair, but she has been relegated to a tag team storyline that keeps the wheels turning instead of fighting for a major women’s championship.

While an eventual feud against tag team partner Jade Cargill would be a significant addition to any premium live event card, WWE Creative’s path to making it happen is slow and rocky.

Just like WWE has occasionally done with Dean Ambrose, the company takes one of its most popular stars, puts him on the backburner, and expects him to suddenly regain all of his momentum.

Instead, the WWE Universe began to grow wary of Belair’s booking and saw hints of the disconnect with Cargill and a possible backtracking. Belair should be the focal point of every show she attends, not an afterthought.

WWE needs to book the departure of their tag team champions ASAP and return Belair to the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Championship scene as soon as possible.

AEW generally does a great job of giving their talent the opportunity to shine, but Kyle O’Reilly is one of those stars who hasn’t made the impact expected of him. The experienced player started looking for rhythm after returning from injury.

O’Reilly recently had a Continental Championship match against Kazuchika Okada; This match was an important match on all continents, but there was little doubt as to who would emerge victorious.

Rather than allowing O’Reilly to bring in another talent by showcasing his tremendous in-ring skills, he needs to be supported as well. With a history filled with many of the top performers in WWE and the ability to create a great match with almost anyone, the former NXT champion should be featured more prominently on weekly AEW programming.

The problem now is that O’Reilly’s credibility with fans has been affected, and he is viewed by many as a glorified worker in the stars’ eyes. Rather than being added to the cards to ensure a better work rate, the veteran should be challenging for world championships and creating a stable environment with the best performers in the industry.

One of the greatest tag teams in NXT history is DIY (the duo consisting of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), and when Triple H took creative control of the main roster, most fans thought the team would be something big.

Unfortunately, injuries initially derailed plans but the lack of consistent booking proved to be the duo’s biggest detriment. Now with the introduction of Motor City Machine Guns, DIY can look from the outside in when push comes to shove.

Gargano and Ciampa are two of the best in-ring workers in the company, and they tell some of the best stories imaginable as their previous feuds against each other have become legendary. Now the problem is that neither of them have been given a chance to shine on the main roster.

If Triple H and WWE Creative don’t focus on ensuring DIY doesn’t get lost in the shuffle, the two Superstars will be cast aside and largely forgotten. If both men are healthy and not appearing on WWE programming, the company has disappointed its fans.
