A Five Points teenager allegedly fled authorities in a stolen vehicle before crashing into a hit-and-run crash on Charter Drive Tuesday afternoon, according to the Valley Police Department.

The 16-year-old suspect was charged with first-degree possession of stolen property. He remained at East Alabama Medical Center in Lanier and was still being treated Tuesday afternoon for injuries he sustained in the crash, authorities said.
