Saudi Arabia Executes Two Men for Drug Trafficking and Murder

KUWAIT CITY, October 27: The Saudi Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued statements confirming the execution of two men for serious crimes; This indicates a firm determination to implement sharia-based judicial decisions. The first person, a Jordanian national identified as HT, was arrested for smuggling synthetic drugs into Saudi Arabia. Following investigation, he was charged and his sentence was confirmed by the Supreme Court and confirmed by royal decree. The sentence was executed in the Tabuk region on October 16, 2024.

The second case involved Saudi national AA, who was convicted of murder after fatally stabbing another Saudi national, Mazen bin Mufreh Al-Mazni. The court accused AA of premeditated murder, and after the appeals were completed, his sentence was executed in Asır on October 16, 2024.

In its statement, the ministry emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to justice, maintaining security and enforcing Sharia law for violent crimes and warned others against similar crimes.
