A woman was allegedly murdered in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and her body was recovered from near the Kanpur District Magistrate’s bungalow. The body of the victim, the wife of a well-known businessman, was found four months after she was allegedly killed.

The woman went missing on June 24, and later investigation revealed that the woman was dead.

According to a NDTV reportThe woman’s gym trainer, Vimal Soni, was arrested in connection with the incident. The gym instructor operating in the Green Park area admitted during his interrogation that he buried the body of the businessman’s wife in an area of ​​bungalows allocated to government officials.

The accused, who lives in Kanpur’s Raipurwa area, told the investigating authorities about the location where the body was found after digging the ground.

Woman upset over gym trainer’s wedding

DCP (Kanpur North) Shravan Kumar Singh told the media that the woman was allegedly upset about the completion of the coach’s wedding. On the day of the crime, the duo came to the gym 20 days later and got in the car to chat.

After an argument broke out between the two, the woman fainted. The instructor then killed him and buried his body. NDTV also reported.

Regarding the police investigation, Singh said it was difficult to trace the accused as he did not use a mobile phone after the crime.

He also added that teams have been formed to investigate the matter and sent to Pune, Agra and Punjab to search for the man. He added that it has not yet been determined whether he bought the jewelry the woman was wearing.

Legal action is being initiated in the matter after investigating all possible angles regarding the incident, which has been registered at Kotwali district police station.
