    The Los Angeles Dodgers were two wins away from a World Series title but lost Shohei Ohtani to injury while beating the New York Yankees 4-2 in Game 2 on Saturday.

    Teoscar Hernández and Freddie Freeman hit back-to-back home runs, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto held the Yankees to one hit through 6.1 innings before Ohtani was injured on a stolen base attempt in the seventh inning.

    The Dodgers will head into New York with a 2-0 series lead but will face questions about Ohtani’s availability going forward.
