If you are registered to vote in Boulder County, you should see your ballot soon if you don’t have one yet. County officials said they began sending out ballots Friday. This year’s Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5, and you must return your mail ballot or line up at the Voter Service Center before 7 p.m. that day for your vote to be counted.

Whether you’re registered to vote or not, you can find out everything you need to know at your county’s Voter Centers (formerly Voter Services and Polling Centers). Many will open on Monday, October 21, and representatives on duty at them will give you the chance to vote in person; Vote in person in Spanish; requesting a substitute ballot; drop off your ballot; and register to vote or update your registration information. To vote, you must have a current form of identification with your picture on it; people mostly use Colorado driver’s licenses.

While voters can register up until Election Day, the last day to register or change your registration and receive your ballot in the mail is eight days before the election. If you register or change your registration after this date, you will need to vote in person.

You can track your mail-in ballot by signing up for Ballot Tracking at: boulder.ballottrax.net/voter.
