Penn State QB Drew Allar left Wisconsin game with apparent injury

Penn State quarterback Drew Allar suffered an apparent injury and did not start the second half against Wisconsin on Saturday night at Camp Randall Stadium.

Allar was tackled and sacked by several Badgers on Penn State’s final drive of the first half. Apparently Allar suffered a leg injury during the sack process.

After the Nittany Lions punted, Allar walked off the field toward the locker room in front of the rest of the team. He was accompanied by head athletic trainer Andy Mutnan.

When the Nittany Lions returned to the field for the second half, Allar came out of the run with a brace on his left knee. He warmed up but did not take the field in the opening moments of the third quarter.

Penn State backup quarterback Beau Pribula leads the offense in the second half.

Allar completed 14 of 18 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
