Deputies ask for help finding hit-and-run driver

TOWN OF GILLETT, Wisconsin (WBAY) – The Oconto Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred Friday night.

Authorities said that the accident occurred around 19:00 on Friday, October 25. The Oconto County Emergency Dispatch Center received a report of a crash involving a UTV and sport utility vehicle on Shawano Line Road and Nelson Road in Gillett Township.

Deputies are trying to locate Obilio Thomas Sargento Robrelo, 32, a Gillett Township resident, as a person of interest in the investigation.

Robrelo fled the scene on foot after the accident. Despite extensive law enforcement efforts, the department says he has yet to be located and remains at large.

The investigation of the incident continues. No other information is being released at this time.
