Fans Predict the Outcome of West Virginia’s Road Contest in Arizona

West Virginia Fans are starting to lose confidence in this football team and this is reflected in our weekly poll where we ask fans to predict the outcome of each week’s match.

Throughout the first few weeks, Mountaineer fans still sided with West Virginia despite all the shortcomings. This week is no different, but there is more uncertainty than in recent weeks as only 52.6% of voters think the Old Gold and Blue left Tucson happy.

West Virginia will likely field a new quarterback tonight, with Garrett Greene listed as questionable with an upper-body injury. Nicco Marchiol saw some action last week in relief of the injured Greene, completing 6-of-13 pass attempts for 58 yards and a touchdown.

It wasn’t a pleasant performance by any means, but there wasn’t much help around either. The receivers weren’t winning away games and the Mountaineers weren’t getting anything on the field. With a week of increased practice, Marchiol should be in position to have a better outing tonight.

West Virginia and Arizona will premiere at 7pm EST on FS1.
