The Door Isn’t Closed on the Detroit Lions Landing Maxx Crosby

Detroit Lions and Maxx Crosby have been linked over the past two weeks following Aidan Hutchinson’s season-ending injury.

CrosbyThe Eastern Michigan graduate took a public stance on his podcast ‘The Rush’ earlier in the week, stating that he did not want to be traded and wanted to remain with the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, our member TJ Lang lions‘ broadcast team and a fellow Eastern Michigan alumnus hinted that Crosby could still be moved ahead of the deadline during a recent appearance on 97.1 The Ticket.

“I don’t think Maxx Crosby should look at the season and say, ‘We’re not going anywhere,’ and if there’s the right fit, can we make it happen?” Lang said. “I’m not saying he’s there, I’m not saying he’s gone. But I don’t think the door is completely closed.”

Lang stated this clearly: Crosby He wouldn’t necessarily seek a trade to the Lions, but instead would be open to a trade unless the season gets better in Las Vegas.

“I don’t think we’ve lost hope that Maxx Crosby is available for a trade,” Lang said. “I don’t think hope is lost that the Lions will go and get him.”

Crosby He gave a long speech during his podcast explaining how much interest he was generating in terms of a potential trade. The defender explained that he had previously been unable to open his phone without seeing arrangements in which he was wearing a different jersey or messages from fans begging him to come to their team.

“I think it made him proud that something like this existed, and the Lions weren’t the only team he talked about. I think he mentioned Atlanta and the Bears and a bunch of people, but he said the Lions five times and then he mentioned one of the teams and there’s a couple more,” Lang said. “He’s probably heard that from the majority of Lions fans, but I think he’s been blown away by that response. But at the same time, if I had to make a guess today, I think in my heart it still stands where it was in the last couple of months, of course every player has been on one team for their entire career and has been on one team for the last couple of months.” He wants to make a difference.”

Lang understood the defender’s desire to remain in the same team, but also acknowledged: Crosby If the Raiders continue to struggle, he may change his mind based on his desire to win.

“But I also look in the mirror and say, ‘Do I want to do this?’ “There comes a time when you have to say, ‘I don’t want to rebuild. I don’t want to do this thing over again. I have to be the one to carry the weight of this franchise on my shoulders,'” Lang explained. “But then again, he’s still a young player. I think there’s something rewarding about being in one spot and seeing the bounce back, but who knows.”
