Important Faces Have Already Stepped Aside for Miami

Miami Heat (0-1) will face Charlotte Hornets (1-1) at Spectrum Center on Saturday evening.

A healthy LaMelo Ball is pushing teams to start the regular season by scoring more than 32 points in each of the Hornets’ first two games. Meanwhile, the Heat were embarrassed in their first game against their Florida counterpart, the Orlando Magic.

In just the second game, the Heat were missing some important faces for different reasons.

Here’s Saturday night’s full injury report:

HEAT

Josh Christopher: Present – Right Big Toe Contusion

Kevin Love: Exit – Personal Reasons

Kel’el Ware: Out – Stomach Disease

Josh Richardson: Suspicious – Left Heel Enthesopathy

Hornets

DaQuan Jeffries: Outside – Hand

Brandon Miller: Out – Hip

Mark Williams: Outside – Foot

Tidjane Salaun: Suspicious – Finger

Heat All-Star center Bam Adebayo, who is ready to face Charlotte, shared his thoughts on the loss against the Magic.

“We played badly. It actually has nothing to do with it. I mean, it’s as simple as I can make it. “It’s a shame, especially on a night like this for Godfather Riley,” Adebayo said. For us it’s a short term memory, I know it’s the start of the season but we don’t want to create it like a ‘buy in’. I was used to it. “For us, it’s either victory or misery.”
